    This at the moment is happening to every single person who is playing Minecraft. There is currently a problem with Minecraft Multiplayer, however, Singleplayer is fine. If you want to stay updated on anything like this, I would always look at this: http://xpaw.ru/mcstatus/. That website is a more reliable source than this page here: https://help.mojang.com/. This is because Minecraft is now owned by Microsoft, so don't trust what Mojang pages say about the status.
