Regarding The Warning System (In-Game)

I've said this in the past, and I'll say it now. Why do staff warn people via PM? I would understand if it's like DDoS threat or something major, but I don't see why minor transgressions have to be dealt with via PM. After talking with members and a couple staff members, I really don't see the point in having PM warnings. With this system, I have no clue if half the staff are doing their jobs in-game, or if they even care about the rule breakers. There is one staff member that I've never seen warn a user publicly. The only people who really know who's doing their job as staff is the Admins (and our beloved S-Mod Giggadream) with their handy-dandy socialspy. If staff were to warn people for minor transgressions in the public chat, it would be a lot more convient for the members. Also, members may not see the rule-breaker being punished in their POV and may proceed to think that "Oh! There are staff on and they don't care about this spammer. I guess I can spam too."

Staff shouldn't warn people VIA PM because we don't know who's doing their job and who's not, plus members may not think the rule-breakers are being punished, so they may think it's okay to break the server rules. And only Gigga and the admins know who's doing their job and who's not.
