    I just joined the forums, i have been told to read the forums rules so did other people in their intros, so why not immediately direct players to the forum rules page right after they register.

    I think it's fine.
    Most of the rules are common sense, and most people have followed these rules anyways.
    See, the intro is where you're welcomed and where you get basically a "guide" if you will.
    Anyone who decides to break the rules will be punished accordingly, so it should be fine.
