Regarding Accepted Applications

Question: So lately, I've been seeing a few threads complaining about the system of how players are getting accepted, when almost half of Brawl doesn't want them as mod. And sometimes I agree with them. Yet they are still accepted.

A lot of times, when somebody is accepted as a moderator on any server, there are at least a few players who know something about the successful applicant that the staff, who are the only ones who can comment on an application, don't.

Now, players are forced to comment on the applicant's profile, and tell them what they did wrong there. Now, 95% of the time, the admins don't even look at the players' profile (from what I've seen so far). And when they do, they don't seem to read the comments.

Now if you look at some of the other accepted applications, in the poll, there are a ton of people who've gotten more no votes than yes, yet they were still accepted.

Here's my question. If we're going to have a poll that we can vote on, what's the point of having it if the admins don't even care what the community thinks? Because I've seen Signatured's "What we're looking for" thread, and I've read it too. But I've never seen anything about what the community thinks (correct me if I'm wrong).
