Clan usefulness

    From the time i first played mc-war till now i have seen many join and make clans of their own but saw that the only real use for the clan was that you were on ur clan members team in tdm or ctf. I thought it would be cool if we added something in which a clan could be more useful. Now i know things have been mentioned before but adding on to those ideas I think that like top clan would get a reward at the end of a week or month depending on how many kills the clan accumulated or the best kdr that the clan got if u averaged all the kills everyone got in that week or month. This would make it so clans would have more purpose and also I think a lot of people would welcome this idea as a good update to the servers. This could also go into smaller proportions like for the smaller clans that they could still participate in a clan v clan contest of some sort and get prizes at the end like xp or credits. I look forward to your feedback on my new idea.

    Clans are already useful as they are. Generally, the team with the good clan wins.

    I agree with this, lately I have been seeing clans as only a part of your name. I wish there was some use of it. Such as listing members which I would really like and clan battles (official not un-official).

    Tops clans actually sounds quite nice. The ideas that you had offered to analyze which clan would be top sound very nice. As of the rewards, XP and credits sound fair enough.

    This could be in the monthly competitions... but the hard part would be how to track clan kills. Also this might be unbalanced because some clans have more people than other clans.

    I know what ur saying Brawler but thats only for tdm and ctf. It really has no use for oneinchamber, gungame, infect, or ffa.

    But... how could clans apply in those gamemodes?
    Most of those gamemodes are party gamemodes in the CoD franchise with the exception of FFA. And FFA, of course, is called Free For All for a reason.

    well like i was saying above clans could accumulate kills from any gamemode and at the end of a week or month the top clans with the most kills or highest kdr of the players games could decide a winner for a prize or something like that. That would include all the gamemodes.

    If we put in something like if players kills over a month or a week could accumulate to the end and they would be given a prize. This would include all gamemodes cause u can get kills on any gamemode.

    Idea
    -Make clan competitions, like if two clan owners are on, they can type /war fight (Clan name). Winner clan gets 20 credits and 1 clan point,which adds to the competitions.
    -Also make clan competitions with most infect kills, most nukes, fastest nuke etc. this would be very fun.
    -On the forums, every month, there is a sign up for clan owners to sign up thier clan and schedules will be PMed to all clan participants. Winner of clan competitions get 1 $3 item, or a $2 item. Also, to not promote farming, there can be a 1k credit fee to enter.

    That could lead to cheaters making two clans and they constantly fight each other just for the points.

    There'd be too many flaws with the top clan getting a reward.
    • Amount of glitching would increase. Players are motivated by rewards, so clan members would be more motivated to abuse glitches in order to get more kills for their clan KDR.
    • What if a massive clan (former HACK) becomes #1? That'd be over 600 people getting a reward, which would be overkill.
    • If you join the top clan the last day before the reward is given, then you'd be rewarded without much work contributed to the clan. That wouldn't be fair.
