Cant see skins in WarZ.

I am not sure that this is a global issue, I can see player skins just fine. Maybe is has something to do with your connection or settings?

 

Are you using the default WarZ texture pack? If you are, you're probably seeing the default skin included in the pack. The pack itself has a file in it named 'char.png', you're mostly likely seeing that. If that's not it, it might be a client side connection issue as Mrcowlick said.

 

I have thought of something else. Are you on a 1.8 client? If so I have heard of people on 1.8 having trouble with skins, seeing as skins have been re-worked on the 1.8+ updates.

 

char.png only applies if the player is using the default skin, so it's probably a connection issue

 

I play on a 1.7x client, yet I have the problem when I go on War. Definitely not a problem with Minecraft settings or 1.8.

 

I don't see skins on WarZ either, on other servers it's fine. I have no clue why this is...

 

playing on 1.7.5 used to fix this, but it doesn't work anyone as of today

 

It is probably part of either your texture pack or connection issues as Chopo said

 

Then it's possibly server side issues. Usually to fix that is just resetting your client.

 

Happens to be in the War servers too. From what I know it's because nametags don't show the player's username, but the section symbol instead to change their IGN.
Ex: BrawlerAce_ turns into §7BrawlerAce_
The player skin for §7BrawlerAce_ doesn't exist, so default player skin.
