    Watched means that you will receive a notification when another user posts on the thread.
    You can setup your account to send only alerts and/or emails for Watched threads.

    You can manually Watch a thread or you can have it automatically Watch threads when you post on them.
    I recommend checking out your account settings to see all the options.
