Am I alone in the belief that MSR is better than ISO?

I'm going to have to go with iso.

Pros:
Better for people w/o scav.
One shot.
Lots of ammunition.

Cons:
Long Reload.
Four bullets p/ chamber.

MSR:

Pros:
Fast firing.
High damage.
Short (er) reload.

Cons:
Low ammunition.
Not always a one shot.


Since I've played most of my Mc-War without scavenger, personally, I just like Iso better because it has lots of ammunition.

 

Depends on the map to be honest.

 

Personally I prefer ISO but it depends on almost entirely on play style.

Most professionals prefer the iso because the iso is great for quickscoping, on the other hand the msr is not.

 

I used MSR even when I had ISO until I got dissa. Yes, in my opinion it is better.

I like bolt action snipers so I know I shoot a heavy bullet to know it deals a lot of damage and can easily kill with that. The msr has a spam personality to it that I don't care for too much. It is nice for clearing out tight spaces, but I would prefer to use my python. So yea, I'm going to go with iso.

 

The Diss gets no respect....

The MSR is too spammy for my tastes. If I need to clear a room or dispatch a group I'll pull out my sidearm.

And the Iso has a small clip with slow reload.

The Diss and Scavenger are formidable because if you perform head shots you can be just as lethal as either. I like to space my shots and get the most shot control from the Diss.

It would be cool to see a survey on which sniper weapon gamers prefer to use.....Diss, Iso, or MSR.

While they are all sniper weapons I think how often players use them influences how they play the game.

There was another thread recently that had the Diss listed as one of the most used weapons...I don't think it is used as much as the Iso or MSR.

I used the Diss most of the time and I love it....

Diss users are a dangerous breed, they shun the 1 any shot gun and rapid spam.....they walk to the beat of a different drum and don't follow the crowd.

 

I am good with both guns, but my problem with the MSR is that it tends to be a more rapid fire gun, which i don't like.
I've done better since I started using Iso, and a little skully, but that's off topic.

 

All of you people are talking about the MSR, Dissassembler, and the L120_Isolater, and I'm just down here with my l118a :v

I do agree that MSR is better than Iso (Isolator is my least favorite gun....), but I personally love the l118a

 

I personally don't like the iso at all, but I would have to go with iso in this case. Although I personally prefer dissa over any iso.

I have to say the the Dissa is better. It has a higher damage then the MSR, but it still has a fairly fast fire rate. I do prefer the Iso though because it's useful for trick shots, but when I want a lot of kills, I use the Dissa

 

Dissa and msr isn't always a osk but the iso is. It makes blind shots a lot easier to do. My trick is to use my python a little to see if anyone is far out. If I then see hit particles I hit them with the iso. I also use sleight of hands with the iso sometimes to give the reload a boost and I can spam it easier when I know where people come from. Throughout my career I trained myself to recognize where crowds of players go to and how often. It makes the iso more deadly and that I don't have to spam a large clip gun to get a kill. It takes me more time to fire off the iso than to fire the msr and reload it. The iso is also great because it doesn't require scavenger as much so it frees up a perk slot for me to use something like sleight of hands, hardline (if I feel its necessary), or jugg (once its fixed...I hope).
