I currently own a logitech M705, which isn't really made with performance in mind, however I found it to be surprisingly good. In any case, it is two years old now and its innards are damaged by battery leakage, and I need a new one.

So I'm looking for a gaming mouse this time, but almost all of the cool ones are corded. My question is pretty simple. Would the cord be impeding to someone with small desk space, and does it at all affect the moveability of the mouse itself?

Commonly all the gaming mouses of people I know are wireless. Surprised that all you can find is wired.
It is all personal preference as well. If your desk is really small and you can not move the cord anywhere so it does not bother you, wireless might be the way to go.

If you don't always want to buy battery's for the mouse go with a wired mouse. If you don't have room for the wire and are fine with buying battery's purchase a wireless mouse.

If you can get the razer deathadder its completely worth it for games like osu, league of legends, and CSGO
I have a relatively small space for my mouse and i havent had any problems with it.
It also lasts a veryyy long time unless you neglect cleaning it, but even then itll last atleast two years with proper care and makes a hell of a difference in practically every game. Its completely worth the "corded" hassle.

If I'm going to go corded, then I'll choose the Logitech g502 for its ergonomics and the fact that it looks like a space ship. From the reviews I've seen, it is one of the best gaming mice currently on the market, however I am reserved because of its corded-ness. However it seems that cords aren't such a hassle, so I might get as opposed to a wireless mouse.

    Things most important to me:
    • Little/no input lag
    • Ergonomics
    • Customizable buttons

Wired doesn't actually take up space, really.
You won't need to change any batteries, so I prefer wired.
