Hints For Complex Addition
When doing complex addition always remember to do to the problem what I did to the example problem. For example, If 1+2=2+3 what is 3+4 for 1+2 1 is added to each addend. 1+1=2 and 2+1=3 making it 2+3 making the problem 1+2=5. So 3+1=4 and 4+1=5 making the problem 4+5=9. So 3+4=9.
Hints For Complex Subtraction
When doing complex subtraction always remember to do to the problem what I did to the example problem. For example, If 2-1=3-1 what is 4-2 for 2-1 1 is added to the minuend. 2+1=3 making 2-1=3-1 making 2-1=2. Now for 4-2 4+1=5. 5-2=3 making 4-2=3.
