Nerf Ghillie to 8 shots

8 shots with a leather helmet and boots? Sorry, but that sounds extremely under-powered for a VIP/MVP kit. It wouldn't even be as good as most of the regular kits then.

 

I'm really starting to understand the commuinities concerns about these kits currently, I'm going to start using recon and scout until Ghillie is available for all players. It will really help.

I can completely understand what you say for Ghillie, but I'm still going to say this. Look at Scout and Ghillie, both sniper kits, both similar, now what's the difference's? Ghillie does have a better gun, but the armour for Scout is better. I think I've been 1 shotted by M40A3's and Tomahawks more than spawn kills. As I said before I think all players should have donor kits by now but we just have to wait.

Now you may of concerns for Ghillie, but me and probably many players have concerns for other kits, for me it's Tomahawker. Tomahawker has decent armour, 5 shots that can easily one shot k-o, and it also has a secondary gun, Tomahawker is a bit op if you look at it that way, removing some tomahawks or the pistol and ammo is what I want from it.

Anyways I do hope there is some sort of update that will settle this before a big community rant starts about this. And I will try to quit Ghillie for the community.

 

Why not? Just give the user extra armor and nerf the ammo. It kills a non armored player instantly, which means it does high damage to newly spawned and will have a high chance of one shotting them.

 

Adding more armour and taking ammo makes this even more like Scout but yet a good trade, but again it's then basically Scout. If the community likes it, I'm already fine with it so go with it!

 

I just think it should be Scout with a few different things and less ammo, as well as the SVD.
(because honestly, most of the kits work that way :v)
It could also include 1-3 additional methods of healing.
Not an expert on FpsHG, but there could be buffed versions of normal kits for donators, with this as an example.

 

Im not really mad about the ghillie being overpowered, I can always just dodge the bullets of the sniper or hide from them and kill them at a shorter distance if they are far away from you.

 

In the short term, this would only make it more powerful as it would make it harder to kill. In the long term, it would be bad for the user, but I'm fine with ghillie as it is now. All you have to do to lose as a ghillie is miss one shot. After that, you're Famas or tomahawker bait.

Actually Brawler, you spawn with full leather as default. :/

To be honest I think the amount of food for both kits should be switched, and the SVD given 8 shots. Seeing as the M40A3 is useless anyhow, the Scout needs something to make it a class worth using.
Looking at the stats, it seems more like the M40A3 is underpowered than anything.

 

I would rather up the scout ammo to 22 bullets and remove one canned bean from the ghillie kit. And seriously, a leather tunic isn't that big of a deal, and certanly does not make scout really good just because you get a leather tunic. A leather tunic is one of the easiest items to find. Especially if you loot the easy kills you can get with drag because it is 1 hit kill.

Weapon stats are fully updated, wasn't sure about the kits page though.
It is theoretically possible for the M40A3 to kill the ghillie in one hit with a headshot. Same with the SVD to a full iron.
If you remember my guide to calculating weapon damage, you can look at that and use it.

 

I didn't know you were talking about scout. The default kit spawns players with full leather.

 

It's not overpowered.
It took me only like 420 bullets to no-scope @booflame.

To be honest, I think ghillie is fine as it is.

 

It isn't as good as you think. It's possible to do well without it. I think I know part of the issue. If you find yourself being killed by a ghillie often, then don't be a tomahawker. Be a soldier. Bear in mind that ghillie users are at an extreme disadvantage against those with automatic weapons. This is the beauty of the kit. It is balanced because of low armor combined with slow fire-rate. I'm going to be honest, until one has used the kit, he or she really shouldn't be asking for a nerf. That's just plain biased. You only have half of the story since you are only on the receiving end of it.

 

But it is quite easy to use :l
I may just be a good user of bolt action rifles, but I found it very easy to get kills back when I had the kit.

Think of it this way though. At least you don't get a Barrett.
One of the kits in beta had a Barrett. I just dominated with it :v
