Sniper damage profile change

    I was thinking that a great way to make all the snipers instakill as they should be and also stop them from being CQC weapons..... which at this point they are, would be to do this: after a certain amount of blocks example: 20 the bullet does more damage (with all normal headshot multipliers)
    and maybe the scope should zoom in more :stuck_out_tongue:?

    Sounds pretty interesting. It'd be nice if real sniping people actually used them from a distance, like I try to do sometimes, but maybe if with scope you could zoom in? That would make things really great. :grinning:

    Sniper rifles do more damage at close range though...?
    Plus the MSR one shotting (also for all DMRs) is pretty OP.
    The MSR's RoF is pretty high, same with the SVD. And if those one shotted.... well....

    they why would you ever use them as actual snipers?

    it doesn't have to be logical, but it has to stop the CQC rifle

    Sniper bullets dealing more force at a longer range doesn't sound very realistic. Plus, this wouldn't stop players from using snipers as CQC weapons. It would only give reason to use snipers more often.

    Isn't the terrible hip accuracy a reason not to use them in CQC?
    If anything, they should take longer to aim, then you wouldn't be able to easily use them in CQC

    True, but the reason I like the idea is because it makes people want to actually snipe with them, instead of running into the battle and getting real close. The only problem I see is that players disappear after a certain bock range...

    I like this as a sniper myself who stays back and picks off enemies from a distance. The svd and msr however cannot be one hit at a distance Unless their fire rate is nerfed.

    This idea wouldn't change how players use snipers. If anything, they're more likely to one shot at a longer distance. Players are still going to quickscope at CQC with an Isolator or another sniper since it'll still deal a ton of damage at close range.
