Title says it all. Without a set time value, our staff can even ignore this rule. I feel like this deserves to be changed. If I ever was a staff member, I'd do it. Not sure about everyone else.

No as far as I know a staff only has to be on ts3 so admins can contact them very fast.

    But here is my rule:
If an staff member is on ts3 and someone msg's hem a question he HAS to answer it.

You often say good stuff Credo, but I strongly disagree with you on this. I stated this before: There are 10 time more players in private channels than in public channels, so why should the staff spend almost all of his time in empty TS3 Channels instead of talking to friends AND helping when somebody sends them a PM?
Right now there are 7 - SEVEN - users in public channels and 86 in private channels.

I don't have a problem with staff being in private channels. As long as they help me when I need them and do their jobs it doesn't matter.

That's the thing. I can't join those private channels for some reason. PMing can be hard at times, especially when TS3 is broken for you...
    Or the issue is bigger.

Well, only because your TS3 doesn't work right (Did I understand that right?), you can't expect the whole staff team to change it behaviour.

Moderators have to do their job.

I'm not expecting. They should do it themselves.

Your TS being broken and disallowing you to PM people is an issue that you should work out.

WHY should they do it themselves? Because 10% of the users are in public channels?

Also, the fact that they're on ts at all is good. The admins can contact them easily and people can ask for their help (even if it is broken for you), all without leaving a channel their friends are in. I realize this is all info that has been stated already, but seriously. Is it really that big of a deal when they can still operate and do their job?

That being said, it's a problem if they aren't doing their job :v

There shouldn't be a set time. Mods simply should reply to PMs and spend at least some time in public channels. A good balance is key.

I don't get why you're complaining. The point of Ts3 is to provide some method of server-wide communication with players and friends. At this point, it seems like you expect Ts3 activity to be something mandatory, such as going to school in the U.S. Honestly, I think it's fine if mods spend most of their time in private channels, as long as they're helping players that require assistance on the Ts.
