    FNAF1 is a lot more scary due to it being less noticable that an animatronic will jumpscare you.
    FNAF2 has a lot more gameplay features and is a lot more difficult
    As for detail, they are pretty equal. I do think that Scott (The creator of the game) made The Mangle, Foxy and the other old animatronics amazingly creepy looking.
    Out of all the characters, I'd have to say that the scariest is probably the Mangle... from its radio to its looks. it is just creepy as f@!% when you see him hanging in your doorway.
    I have only gotten to night 3 in fnaf1 (Yeah :V )
    and fnaf2 i have gotten to night 3 as well.
