Skywars Starter Guide

    Now, I know I'm not the best, but here are some useful tips:

    1. Look in a chest- If most of the stuff in there is stuff you're going to want, exit the chest and break it.
    2. Getting to the middle island first is very vital! There is usually the best Diamond armor and loot there.
    3. When building bridges towards other islands, place water in set increments so that if you fall, you can catch yourself and get back up!
    4. The best way to counter someone doing step number 3 is to: Place lava to harden them into the water, or place a block to stopper the water and let them fall!
    5. SPONGING(1)! When in close combat, if you back up and place a sponge quickly enough, you might make the enemy accidentally launch themselves off the edge and die!
    6. SPONGING(2)! If you try to Sponge(1) someone and they go around it, try hitting them onto it!
    7. A good fighter knows when it's time to fight, and when it's time to flee. Throwing an Ender Pearl to earn yourself a momentary respite is a good way to heal yourself back up and launch into the battle (note: Sponges could work, but the enemy could easily follow you. :smile:)

    8. Sponging(3) Jump on your sponge in the direction towards the middle But make sure you have a water bucket! As soon as you are about to hit the ground place down the water and boom no fall damage :stuck_out_tongue:

    9. Cobweb party! While fighting place down cobwebs if your enemy get stuck in them place down lava or tnt and run away!

    Another way is look to see if there are the most peeps(all) of them looting chests if they all are build a line of blocks to the middle and WALLA!

    My #1 tip when playing; Get a bow and arrows whenever possible. It's easy to rack up kills by knocking people off.

    I personally don't like going into the middle first, I usually hop onto other islands first, then I wait until other people come to me first. Also, I like to carry a lava bucket on my hotbar. It's saved me many, many times.

    Like rushing to the middle. get the good loot and you just guard the middle so no one gets to u and you win.
