    Hi Masters of Minecraft,

Most veteran gamers face challenging periods where nothing seems to go right. We all go through these periods of time where whatever we do doesn’t work. We can’t EMP let alone Nuke.

If you had three tips to pass on to other veteran gamers what would you recommend?

    1. Rather than the Skully, experienced gamers might want to try using the Lemanation aka “Lemonade Gun” or the Famas. Utilizing headshots and short bursts these weapons can be very lethal weapons. Pairing them with “Scavanger” and you have lethal combinations on your hands.

    2. Prior to entering rooms try throwing Grenades, Flash bangs or Molotov Cocktails, this also works with retreating. This can buy you time as you wait for reinforcements and disorient your pursuers.

    3. Try a different technique/strategy. (make sure to use the appropriate weapons.
    a. If you are a Rusher – Try Sniping and slowly work in your Rush
    b. If you are a Sniper – Try Rushing and then Sniping
    c. If you are a Utility player – Try Sniping or Rushing

The trick to getting out of a rut is to try something new and evaluate how you play. This will help you break that “rut”!

Add your 3 favorite tips and tricks for Veterans in a rut.

I like how you use the term "veteran gamers," even though a majority of people here aren't actually gamers.

    • Try using lower-tiered weapons, it increases your skill, reputation and changes up your play style.
    • If you're privileged with an amount of perks, try switching them around every so often instead of using scavenger all the time. (For example: SoH in gungame).
    • If someone else is better than you, don't become jealous; embrace their play style and be a good sport. Ask them for a few tips and look up to them.

Wikipedia.......A "gamer" is someone who partakes in interactive gaming, such as (predominantly) video games or board games. The term nominally includes those who do not necessarily consider themselves to be gamers (i.e., casual gamers).

Nope pretty sure we are all gamers here :V

Do whatever you want! That's how to really play a game! Except don't be a ranger or anything negative.....

    Be something positive!

I never do either, my usual score is 10-23.

I'm not even kidding right now.

    I stopped caring :stuck_out_tongue:

I've been playing in a "rut" for months now.

Unfortunately, I am not under the category of a "veteran," but I have a couple tips.
    • Try to know the map and know what type of gun to use. At a low level like me, (25) use the best of that type. It is still like 10 times worse than most others.
    • For me at level 25 try to follow the higher levels, they often get rarely known spots that you can get many kills.
    • Only for game modes that both teams have guns, a good tactic is being able to dodge the other person's shots.
Again, I am no expert by those are just things I do.

I love to use lower tiered weapons cause it reminds me of the olden times(one of cherp's teeps :stuck_out_tongue: ). Ah, those days were good. I'm on a goal of nuking with the M16. Anyways, back on topic, I used to be in a rut, known as #nukecurse. I would EMP and game end or I would nuke and game would end before I get the kills for it.

I was in a rut this week until earlier tonight when I finally managed two nukes for the first time since Sunday afternoon. I have been changing my dpi (mouse sensitivity) to lower levels (was 3100 now is 1100) to get back to playing well and to be more accurate and change how the game feels. Deffidently reccomend

I don't consider someone a gamer unless they play a variety of games, not just a single game such as Minecraft.
