    Humanity is merely a cosmetic thing. Some players care about it because it's a symbol of who they are. There are currently no in-game benefits for being a Survivor, Bandit or Hero. Personally I think there should be, but as far as I know, there won't be any in the near future. Any input on this, @Signatured ?

    All it does it give you a sexy colored name. Personally I enjoy getting my humanity lower and lower as a bandit, (I'm evillll) but some people are indifferent. And others (cough, @nicolecacola, cough) are so intense about getting a really high humanity that they force-blood-bag you. It's not a nice feeling.

    It affects how people trust you. If your'e a bandit, your'e a public enemy, and people will go after you. If your'e a hero, then you gain some trust. I have a really high humanity (like 38,000 or something) so I enjoy fooling people who think I'm friendly. The reaction is priceless.

    As of now, it's purely a cosmetic feature that allows players to tell if you're a good guy or a bad guy. We may add a secondary use in the future.
