    Does anyone else use playerheads as a building block for your builds?

    I feel it is really helpful for building, using the head list such.

    Yes.
    Sometimes I use Apple heads for apples on a tree.
    Sometimes I use a camera head for security cameras.

    Heads are a great way to add something that's not in minecraft. Like cameras, apples etc. It's a great way to add some detail to your builds.

    I use them a lot on my custom map project.
    I don't use simple heads that you can get with /i or /give but i use the modified ones. This heads can be obtained only with a command block and a very long command.

    If you want to take a look they are 1.8 heads and all of them have a offset layer (the head cap). The website with all the commands to obtain them is THIS. Almost all the heads looks like realistic objects!

    For example i love the Brown Vase.. look how long is the command to get it:

    /give @p skull 1 3 {display:{Name:"Brown Vase"},SkullOwner:{Id:"1c78d02a-2326-4989-bcb7-89fc320cae4a",Properties:{textures:[{Value:"eyJ0ZXh0dXJlcyI6eyJTS0lOIjp7InVybCI6Imh0dHA6Ly90ZXh0dXJlcy5taW5lY3JhZnQubmV0L3RleHR1cmUvY2E3NjY3NGM2Y2VjNmYzMWJmZWZlMDQ4M2RkYWVhYWQyMzg2ZjAyYzM1ODdmMDU1ZWFiOTFlNDRjYTdiNCJ9fX0="}]}}}
