Suddenly started lagging on McBrawl :/

    I live in the UK and my ping is usually 120 - 160ms

    Now it has changed and gone above 190ms and it's really annoying :/ Anyone know why?

    Try playing on less crowded servers. Make sure no noe else is using internett in your house. More people using the same router at the same time = more lag for everyone. Also, did your family switch internett company or router revently? If so, that is probably the reason you have a higher ping.

    Haven't changed anything, I'm the only one in my house, have been for about 12 hours now, It was perfect today.

    Call your internet service provider and see if they have any latency issues.

    Also if you have a smart Tv connected to the internet disconnect it i lag HARD when it connected (1000+ ms)

    do you have optifine? for some reason optifine makes my ping go up

    Optifine would help improve your fps, not your internet connection...

    im not talking about my internet connection, optifine helps minecraft run a lot faster for me, but somehow makes my ping go hella high, without optifine, my ping drops drastically, i have no idea what in the world optifine is doing to my internet

    Maybe you have multiple devices connected to the same router causing slowness. This has happened to me multiple times and it can be VERY frustrating. Maybe you should disconnect those other devices if you have them online. If that doesn't work like Chickenputty says contact your Internet service provider to see if there are any latency issues, or it could be just a simple router re-boot, who knows?
