Before you post something here, I will take your post as 'pointless', if you say that the majority of the community is in the private channel section. Go ahead and post a status or on my profile, instead of farming your post count (which is obviously not needed).

It has come to my attention that some of our moderators spent a lot of time in their own channels, often not giving their two cents about the community.
I myself have seen very confused people joining Teamspeak and often asking irritating questions.

I just simply think that a member who is applying for a staff position and is only in private channels should have no damn excuse to be accepted in any way, shape or form as a staff member.

The reason why am I bringing this over here, is due to my thought regarding the amount of staff in private channels; I just think it's unfair for the non-donator part of the community (partially me), to be left out.
A really amazing and brilliant of an example happened about 9 months ago - the only 'big staff team' consisted all types of nice people, and they all were on a public channel. I never saw this group in particular (I'm partially speaking of TH's current members) to be in a private channel.
And if they were, it was either open or they gave you the password anyway.
I think that with this happening again, I could finally stop making these threads and do something more productive in the community.

You bring up a good point this was one of the reasons I was denied. I am still helpful to all players that ask me questions and I am active on team speak. I am not in public channels as much as I need to be though to let the community get to know me better. I agree with you 100% If you wish to become a moderator in the future you should be in public channel to get to know the community more.

Look. Those threads aren't really useful anymore. We discussed it over and over, simply send a staff member a message if you need help (Thats also the reason why it has to say "PM for help" after our name when we are in private channels). Then it is their job to react and if they don't, I'm fine with you complaining about them.

There is no need for Moderators to sit in public channels lonely, waiting for someone to join when all their friends are in private channels. Moderators are here to help players, which they can do through PM's and talking to them if necessary, but it is not the job of a Moderator to be forced to stay in public channels to talk to people they don't even know about random stuff.

Okay, what are you talking about here? How is donating related to Teamspeak? How are non-donors left out on Teamspeak?

Correct me if I'm wrong. I believe he means the general part of the WarZ community (mostly filled with donator ranks) that sits in private channels.

Thats true, but the most non-donors are in private channels as well. We Moderators also don't care whether the people in our channels are donors or not.

Right now, I don't see a relation between being a donor and being in a TS channel.

Are you seriously going to bring that up again? Team Holy is a WarZ team, and the last time I checked 2 Moderators were a part of it. Team Holy does not equal donors, it is only one of many WarZ teams with a few staff members in it.
Now, if you want to bash at Team Holy again, don't make a thread making it look like many (or even all) staff members only spend their time on Teamspeak with donors in private channels. Because that is not true.

After all, we are trying to help the community here. If a major part of the community wants to stay in private channels, we will have to respect that.

Upcoming Moderators or current moderators do need to spend time in public channels but that is not the objective of Teamspeak. It's to help other players, so as long as they do that I believe they have done their job.
