    I think that giving players the option of doing either 8 Player Mode or 1vs.1 Mode. Does this seem like a good idea?

    The problem with this idea is that someone could easily farm points, kills, or a higher kdr with an alt.

    Maybe 1v1 mode would only give you 1 point per kill, and 3 points per win.

    Yep, definitely not. It might be hard to code also.
