I just saw an article about Norse and the first thing I thought about was McBrawl.
To keep it short, Norse sets up honeypot-like traps for hosts that DDOS attackers trigger, supplying the host with information about the hacker like IP, their service and an overall threat level. I don't play on any McBrawl servers much anymore, but when I did I know there was always a large problem with DDOS attacks, especially on WarZ servers. From what I read, Norse products can even block certain IPs from accessing your website/servers if they have too high of a threat level.

I'm not very tech-savy and I haven't looked into this service much, but I figure its something that you all might want to consider. Here's their website http://www.norse-corp.com/, their free Live Map showing all attacks worldwide http://map.ipviking.com/, and their contact page http://www.norse-corp.com/contact.html (I didn't see a generic price for their products, but you can get a quote or free trial through contacting them it seems).
Again I don't know much about this, but I know DDOS attacks are a problem here and this seems to be something that could help. Just throwing this out there in case it can help.

That sounds very interesting, but unfortunately, DDoSers can easily change their ip.

Again, not the best with technology, but Norse's DarkWatch advertises that it can detect bogus IPs and computers using tor or anonymous proxys. This doesn't prevent total changes of IPS, but in terms of a DDOS attack, that doesn't matter. They can change their IP and attempt to attack again, but Norse updates so quickly that they would just block the new IP address before it has a big effect.
I'd assume they've thought about this.

Our servers already have DDoS protection and they don't offer anything to individuals.
Who is this meant to help?

Honeypot systems are only for webservers; they don't help individuals.
