Headset Question?

    So I have a Bose headset (Not sure the specific name) And whenever I use it on teamspeak, or skype my voice sounds abnormally high pitched and echoes alot according to my friends. My voice doesn't normally sound like this when I talk. My headset does have near the speakers that pickup my voice there are 2 little buttons that I don't know what they do. Can anyone help?

    Well, if you are playing in a small room with very little or no padding (soft things like cushions, carpeting, pillows, etc.), your voice is bouncing around the room when you talk. Your microphone must be very sensitive, as it is picking up the echo of your voice. You might be able to change the sensitivity of your mic when you plug it into your computer. Adjust it enough so it can not pick up echos, and go through a few sound tests while you are at it.
    Now for the high pitch, I can not help you there. I believe the buttons are just volume adjusters, but I am not sure. One might mute the mic, and the other might mute sounds through the headset.

    Try going through your microphone settings and lowering your mic volume and if you have clownfish you might want to turn that off :stuck_out_tongue:
