So, you know how you all spawn, rush to the spawn of the infected and then camp?
I'm aware this may be spoken before, but in the actual Call of Duty, all players start off as survivors.
Then, after around 10-15 seconds, a random player is chosen to be the root zombie.
This would allow for a lot more intense and suspense-packed moments.
I'm also aware that some may say that this is unfair and unneeded, but this would kind of ditch the part of spawn-camping.
Yes, the infected who died, would spawn in the location they are supposed to spawn at.

It seems interesting but I don't know how but it could add some kind of form of range when you are chosen :/

We could use the same system we have now.
Only the player will become an infected later, and in the location he/she was at.

I believe this is what you're talking about. Just skip to 1:45. I really like the idea since it would make Infect a greater challenge and reduce spawn camping.

Im in for it. Imagine you turn into the root with 8 other people in a room with you. Feasting time and probably an emp. But seriously this will prevent spawn camping and it would make infect a game of trying to survive and not hope that you buddy next to you will be root. Perhaps it announces the person in chat after 15 seconds and gives players resistance for 3 seconds to scatter.

    Not really like that.
People have to be smart enough.

Easy to make, no more spawn camping or camping all out on one hallway (dustbowl). Would really change infect and while there will be for sure be people complaining how the person right next to them turned into a zombie, it makes every infect game different.
One idea that makes it even more unique: The place where the root turned into a infect, is the infect spawning point. Just a vague idea.
