Pointless clans

    So @waffleman72 and I were looking at clan names today, and a handful of the names were taken and only had 1 member, the owner. I think these clans if inactive for maybe.. 15 days, should be deleted/removed. Other clans that I've looked at with like 15-13 members with very very inactive members should also be deleted. They are just spam clans I guess.

    Good idea, but 15 days is too short. It should be 1-2 months before the clan gets auto deleted.

    Old and retired clans, clans with less than 10 people, same owner for 1-2 months should be deleted and up for grabs to be claimed.

    There should be an auto-delete thing, however if the time was like 1 month, I think the owner of the clan should be able to apply for a longer "reservation" if the player are going on holidays for a really long time etc..

    sometimes these clans with 1-10 members are not active but one member of the clan gets online 1 time in the 15 days,

    So don't expect that all the inactive clans get removed, but a big part will get removed.

    I like the idea btw, i think the devs should code this.

    Guys just becuse a clan dosent have over 100 members dosent mean its inactive. And what about private Clans (like 3 friends?) I personaly think this is a bad idea and what about the new Clans? Once again only becuse they have a Lowe amount of members dosent mean its inactive.

    And how can you proof a clan is inactive?

    The owners can check when a player last joined and can out of that make a auto system, if all clan members is inactive for X days the clan get removed.

    Sometimes when you see a clan, with a cool name, and do /clan info, then you see that there are only 5 members in the clan, and you have never seen the clan owner ever online (and you are always online)

    This does NOT mean it is an not active clan. It could be a friends-invite only clan, and the clan owner may just live in an other time zone than you...

    (but when the clan has 1-2 members i agree with the thread/replies)

    What about clan members that are Idle for a month?

    Should they Get auto-removed?

    People actually paid credits for the clan tag. Removing it just because they aren't active anymore doesn't seem right to me.

    Based on what Choci said, I think that after 1-2 months of inactivity the Clan will be disabled. And can be turned back on again once the clan leader types in a command to enable it.
