    You can tell that they're Japanese assuming that their usernames are their first names.

    Hi-mo-shi: ひもし

    Hu-mo-shi: ふもし

    Note: ふ is actually the Hiragana for the Fu sound. In English, the Fu sound is either written as Hu or Fu, leading to some confusion.

    Source: I've been studying Japanese on and off for a while now.
