    Soon, in the 1.7 update, something magical will happen. The ability to /give something with a name.

    While this may seem pointless, it opens up new possibilities. You see, when you /give something with name and lore, and hover over it in chat, it will show the item name and lore. If you still haven't gotten it, here's a screenshot of how this could be implemented (keep in mind the screenshot is from a snapshot and right now this is just brains for food)

    Would be cool to list the guns stats.
    Only in hub though might get visually distracting in game.

    Oh, I think you mean plugins that can give a renamed item with lore. However, they can't display the hover over chat to see name thing, as that's unique to 1.7

    I think list and sidebar are more useful.
    Saves me from having to move my mouse.
