    Hey all,

So recently I decided I'm gonna buy a computer, from general knowledge I've heard custom made ones are the best if you want a legit good gaming pc, but even for that I know barely anything about what specs are good and what not to get, so I was requesting if someone could link me to a computer that's online or tell me what to get for a custom built one.

I'm willing to pay 3000$ maybe 4000$, I've also saved some more for the ad-dons ( Headset, Mouse , Microphone , Acoustic foam ) so if anyone who has a general or good knowledge of computers please comment a list of what would make a beastly computer, btw this includes EVERYTHING within the computer.

Ending this I've already got a good understanding of keyboards, mouses etc... but if anyone has any personal opinions on some good ones I should get, feel free to say.

thanks (I'm not sure if 4000$ is enough or to much, I live in Australia so it could be different in Europe/Americas ecomony)

3000-4000$ is a really good budget for a custom PC. I have built 2 PCs with a 3000$ budget and they work pretty fine.

I can get you a parts list that that will work great for gaming, just one question, is all you want to do gaming? Or would you want to do some content creation or something? Here is a list for just gaming- http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rR2jhM

The monitor is 4k, so 4 times the resolution of 1080p. This is the best I can do for that money

I suggest AlienWare. This computer is 4000+ dollars and it's a WONDERFUL gaming computer. You get lots of fps in game, over 600. And it's also know as one of the best gaming computers that's why it's priced at 4000+ dollars. I do not have an AlienWare so I can't give you much detail. Like I said, I don't know much about good computers. I just have a 600$ Windows8 computer. Just maybe look up some websites and videos. Have a good day!

Ok, these parts will be able to handle all of that. Also, 16 gigs of ram should be enough for what you will be doing, though If you want 32 gigs this is my recommendation- http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f310666cl9q32gbxl

Although Alienware have the reputation they're almost scamming you from your money, you pay ridiculous amounts for components which are half the price on other websites, its mainly just the brand name you're buying .

    Advice:
-Don't get AMD processors cuz they suck, INTEL IS LIFE (Core 2 duo/quad, i5, i7, etc.)
-8 gigs of RAM is good enough for gaming
    -Nvidia GeFORCE FTW
-by an integrated wireless module if you can't use ethernet
-get an SSD (solid state drive) instead of a hard disk - 100x faster
-get a good power supply that can handle your hardware
    -don't buy crappy motherboards

    good luck

-No, the athlon and FX series are best for under 800 dollar builds, as you should be investing in the graphics card
-8 gigs is good for gaming, but he is going photoshop and vidio editing, it could be useful for him to have more
-The only good performance for your money gpus currently from nvidia are the 900 series
    -YES
-SSD's are only good for your boot drive and key applications, they are too expensive for mass storage right now
-I agree on the power supply, that is why I suggested a corsiar one
-Yeah, motherboard can't be that bad

Idk. I built all of my computers myself and it isn't that hard. Just look for tutorials on Youtube.
