Diamond Armor = Over Confident?

    Back during the old old map, players who had diamond armor were EXTREMELY GOOD. Now, whenever I find someone with diamond armor (Usually the ones who aren't in a team of 4 or more..) they usually suck, because they rush in guns ablaze and end up getting killed by a simple pistol etc. =.= This happened yesterday (01-30-15) I was on, and there was a team of three, one had a iron chest, the others both had iron leggings. They all rushed me and I had put one of them in barbed wire when he came running in, and shot him to death almost instantly with the tier 2 sniper (Don't know the new gun names yet :stuck_out_tongue:) and M16A4 (I believe that's what it's called) the rest of them. It took no time at all, but sadly I am a white name and had spare diamond legs I couldn't do anything with other than give to someone or something (Traded them to another white name for 5 stacks of bloodbags :grinning:) The point of this thread, is I just want to ask, am I the only person who thinks people with Diamond armor are Overly confident in themselves?

    Well I'm not confident when I'm in 1/4 or 2/4. Meanwhile when I'm like 3/4s I'm always getting rushed by 1/4s while one shotting them all.

    The one thing 3/4 diamonds and full diamonds do, that the rest of us are too Un-geared to do, is to poke our heads round corners. They can't be one shot, so they never realise there may be more than one Barret pointing at them. This is what makes double Barret combo so OP. I first learned this when myself and ZettaForm double headshotted SaiMeta in full Diamond. Since then, me and my friends @NMHRODMANISBEST and @mxj901 have become very skilled at double-barreting with me, in fact we once triple-barreted a 3/4 diamond running away from army by all three of us body shutting him.

    So, the moral of the story is I guess that even with diamond, you're not invincible. Probably the majority of the times I've died in full diamond was because I was too cocky. So, be sure to judge the situation before you rush in with your brand new Full D.

    I don't wear diamond unless I have 3/4s or 4/4s.

    I try not to wear 1/4ths or 2/4ths all that much, but it can help. I usually wear 3/4ths or full diamond. It's just too easy to one shot.

    The people now adays are over confident cause there used to being with a team of 20 and sometimes when they rush a 1v1 they froget how truely skilled they are and just get shrekt cause they suck ass with out there team.

    TBH, if I have full d, I treat it like full iron. I always rush though so..

    I don't know..
    I feel like having full diamond makes you more alert as you don't want to lose any of it. As a full iron, it's all good dying as you can get that armor back easily. As a full D, it forces you to make better decisions.
    Or this could just be me...

    In my opinion it matters on skill level. Not kids who are trying warZ and got global mvp for War and Party.

    For me diamond is something you wear to not get oneshot, and something you're going to use to rush, or even something you just use to tank. Wearing diamond doesn't affect your skill level, you can easily Barret spaz a full d in full leather ( I've done it 100x ) and you can easily die in full diamond to a couple of irons. It's based on your skill level. In all honesty diamond is overrated, it's just something you wear.

    I have had cases where i am full iron or even full leather and like 3 3/4 and like 2 full d's camp on me. I am not even kidding.

    Yesterday I killed a full diamond because I placed barb, and since he was full diamond he was probably like "Screw the barb, I'm full diamond. I don't need to cut this stuff." Then when he rushed up, I shot him into barb and comboed him until he died >:grinning:

    So yes, people with diamond are over confident.
