As most players on McBrawl know the community is pretty bad at the moment. One main thing causing this is that there are so many players that are very disrespectful of other players. They go unpunished. I have seen staff members on a server and not tell someone not to flame but when a staff member gets disrespected they mute the person. I feel like we should be stricter about players being disrespectful. Here are the list of punishments.

    Disrespect: 1 hour mute

    Second disrespect: 24 hour mute

    Third disrespect: 1 day ban

This might seem harsh but I think by far that this is the only way we can make this server a more enjoyable environment. If something is not done about the amount of disrespect that is happening this server will defiantly die.

How about permanently muting instead, and you'd have to appeal it just like a bane?

I don't feel like the staff isn't doing it's job. I personally ask players that flame or are disrespectful to others to stop. I don't know what other staff members do but I don't see that much of a problem here.
We have a new warning system that will even make it easier for us to handle these issues.

Most flame is just useless banter nothing of substance, the only actual "flaming" that staff and players should worry about are more serious things like DDOS and death threats and generally more aggressive things. Telling a staff member to shut up is more disrespectful than telling a player to shut up because most of the time staff members only talk to enforce rules.

Its something that we should leave up to the staff because its their choice and when looking at the big picture theres not much you can do to prevent flame and rage from players. Not really something you should concern yourself with

The new warning system should solve this problem.
Disrespect really doesn't bother me as it does others.

    2 weeks?
It might just be me but like, a war mod on War? At LEAST a month or two.

And also in my time as a mod, before mods were told to go on diff. servers from other mods, I'd be the only done doing moderating and an s-mod and 2 mods would be on, and all of Holy would be on flaming me. They would do nothing.

    Solution: the new /warn command.
Most of our war mods now have an extra server to moderate. I'm trying my best to be on, but we all know war is offline atm.

The community was really peaceful a long time back in 2013. There were very less arguments and people would actually enjoy the game. This was before when servers like PvP Survival were created.

Ah yes, the good old days, when everyone still complained about how bad the community was and how they wish they could go back to late 2012. It was better then, yes, but only because McBrawl wasn't as big yet. I still clearly remember people (including me hue) posting deal with it gifs on all threads complaining about the swearing, the OP guns, etc.

The only time I'm able to see an McWar moderator online is if I ask them to come on.

Look at this thread that I created a while back.
It was better for a while, but now it's starting to happen again.
I haven't seen many dedicated staff members that are dedicated to their servers in a while, particularly McWar. Maybe this is because it gets a little boring? Well, if that's the case, you shouldn't have applied in the first place. For example, I see several War moderators playing on the other servers more than McWar (WarZ, fpsHG, etc.)

I'm not saying this is every moderator, I'm just saying there are a lot of them out there who do this.
