    For some reason Im crashing whenever I try to log onto creative, I am using 1.7.2. (if thats important)
    I see no reason why this should be happening, there are many people online so this might be an isolated case.
    The crash report doesn't have any out of the ordinary information.. This is very strange, does anyone know whats going on?

    Currently creative will only let you play in 1.8. Although you can only play in 1.8 due to this bug you still can't place 1.8 blocks etc. Any 1.7 version will crash on creative from a scoreboard error.

    When do you think 1.8 blocks will be added?

    Eventually. The creative server will update to 1.8 obviously before, otherwise I have no idea when. Also if you want to know how to use some 1.8 blocks, you can use wet sponge and all the new types of stone with World Edit.
