(Generic) Awful lag

    The fact of the matter is, people who live far away from the computer which runs mc-war can barely move with the lag we experience. I've talked to all sorts of people living outside the US, mainly across the Atlantic, and we all experience regular lag spikes , often at the same time. I'm not sure of the cause of this, but isn't client side, as I am at a permanent 60+ FPS, and another person experiencing the same is on a Razer Blade, which is the best gaming laptop on the range, and gets 300+ FPS. It may be a plugin issue, or something changeable, or it may be a bad server host. If so, I would like this problem to be eliminated, because at the moment I cannot play on any multiplayerservers server, without having 3 chunk updates per minute.

    Very small chance it could be your router but I don't know as I'm in Canada.

    I'm getting a bit of lag, not much, but just a bit. I live in Michigan (The most boring state that ever existed) And I get a TEENY bit of lag. Where are the servers located?

    I live in Murcia and still get lag spikes with everyone else. It's not (directly) mc-wars fault.

    300 FPS? Impossible. His monitor can't have that high refresh rate. Ask him about that. 60 FPS is perfect, just saying.

    This is getting off topic, but what's happenings that his computer is capable of 300 FPS, which is what minecraft displays. In reality, he could put be getting above 60 FPS unless he spent a bunch of money on a useless high refresh rate monitor. 35 fps works just fine, too, because our eyes can only see and our mind only process visual information so fast.

    Putty gets 2000 FPS... Also there is some lag spikes that have been linked to bugs that should be fixed soon : >

    I have noticed that some server experience it more that others. Server 7 seems to have lag spikes more frequently than sever 8.
    I am not so sure as to what the difference between these servers are but that is how it is.

    That means you have a bad PC. This is about server lag.

    Is it really the computer and routers to blame? When I've been in mc-warz servers where time literally stood still. The chests wouldn't refresh nor could one player harm another. It was eerily peaceful yet hostile at the same time. It is rather stressful in firefights, when you must account your bullet for the distance, velocity, time and lag displacement in order to achieve a head shot that wont even kill instantly. It is a bit of a bugger, yet it does pay of a bit with your training. However it being a rather consistent issue is a bother.
