(All my hard work in bolding and font sizes messed up when I copied and pasted in Google Docs :frowning: )I would like to first start off with fixing some misconceptions many many think. Probably thinking of a lame knock-off of someone thinking that they can fix the whole community. I am not saying that the McBrawl community is bad to be based off of. But this is the research of how humans react to certain things, in my words it would be ‘Human psychology’. It would better suit the thread as ‘Mending the McBrawl Community’ considering that you can’t right-off-the-bat just fix something that easily. You have to slowly mend it and redo the things done wrongly. This takes process and I never said it would be easy, if some angry people out there want to just fix the community, think again. If you really wanted to help you would put your mind to it and truly put effort. I’m not saying that with some scientific magic you can magically ‘poof’ everyone and make this place something that would be much better. I worked on this and I’m here to present the many ways I think I could contribute to the community. I’m not any Human psychiatrist or professor, but anyone with a still working mind can figure out what they can do to help.

    Method 1

For my first part of the method of ‘Fixing the McBrawl Community’ is… fixing yourself. That’s right, you don’t go out to other people fixing/correcting their mistakes when you yourself are not correcting your mistakes and bad doings. Yes, I’m not the most perfect example, I’m saying this right now to avoid many angry retorts of some people. The main thing of this is conquering yourself, you must attain full (or near full) self-control. This mainly includes patience. No matter how much someone pokes you with annoying messages or such. Just ignore, it’s just a freakin’ game. The cases are different when you are in real life. If you spend your life playing a voxel-game (like some people…), use to the best of your advantages without making a big deal of it. Addiction would probably be the thing of Minecraft, you see others boasting about their wonderful things they did in a voxel-game. Just keep back your useless comebacks and play the game. You don’t have all the time to waste, you have many things such as school, homework, chores. and more (if you are a regular kid). Also if they are just doing a bit of show-off which all of us want to do, it’s okay. As long as you're not in someones face it’s normal for a human to share with others because of their achievements. But NEVER turn them down. If it’s something as simple as “I killed a full diamond!”, in WarZ, don’t be like “I do that for breakfast you’re eZ.”. You yourself can remember killing your first full diamond. Never put someone down no matter how simple, just say something as simple as “Nice!”. Try your best not to make it sound sarcastic because they’re feelings can easily be hurt. But to top this out you may think that this would be completely stupid when you never get anything in turn ‘Perhaps a scavenger in return?’. But it’s important that you don’t be greedy. “What goes around comes around”, the famous quote you may have heard. If you do something nice, maybe one day that favor will come around and come to you. This also applies to if you do something mean to someone. They may, someday do something bad to you in a different form or maybe come from not the person you did a wrong to. Sometimes you may have to say something to someone who truly is being a retard, you may hurt their feelings… but you did it for the best if you did it for a good cause.

My second part of the method is fixing others, mostly your friends. Once you have gained self-control you can move on helping other people. If you see someone making angry remarks at people, take the advantage of saying stop. They might backfire at you but you must try your best. I said ‘mostly your friends’ because they’re the ones who would mainly listen to you. Friends help each other out and the more trust they put in to each other the more you can convince them of maintaining their calm. As you do this to many people then they can contain their inner self and branch out to others. This way the ‘virus’ never stops expanding and duplicating. But, a virus needs something to send it’s DNA to. A person A.K.A the virus. The person spreads the virus making more people have it (but in this case the person doesn’t explode…).

My final part of the method is fixing the game. This is last because people complain that the game was made poorly. Most of the cases it's them who are ruining it. But sometimes (this is why it's third) the game can be the problem. Many argue that War 2.0 should have been released a long time ago. I agreed with this until today since Myortvye is working hard on it from scratch, making it the server have the winning side. And in WarZ how the teaming is getting insane with let's say Team Holy (xD). This is a real problem in my opinion. People don't ruin the game play, the game is. Sometimes it's the staff that needs to stand, not the players. But that's rarely the case.

    Method 2
My second method of fixing the community is by ‘stair steps’. This means loyalty to the people we love the most (not that kind of love…). Such as YouTubers, Admins, Coders, etc. People look up to these people and if they do something bad, the community follows. The thing is, people think in steps, first they want to achieve little popularity, and make it grow out. And in these steps I explain what they want to grow out in. Even though they may not know, they follow the steps and try to achieve the same rank as others.

The first step on my list is OP players, no matter if it is WarZ, Survival, War, or any other game. Players look a bit up on experienced players. People in my opinion don’t like them too much to actually be following everything they do but they often say “sup man!” or like “hey bestie!”, even though they may not even know you. They may even try to make friends with you and awkwardly be very nice with you.

The second step on my list is moderators. Players I can see from my own history think that achieving the same ‘rank’ as moderators can be helpful. The secret behind this (not really a secret anymore?), is that they mostly want to achieve the same rank as you so they can always be friends with you. At that point the player may be able to actually control the moderator without the moderator feeling (getting off topic but let’s talk, mysteriousss) it. This can lead to moderator making unneeded bans. This is what would be happening in the player’s mind when achieving this rank.

The third step is Staff members basically SMod, Coders, and Admins. This is a long step from moderator to these high staff members than can make you literally ‘unstable’. This would be a hard step for the person to achieve with. They mostly make bonds and try to raise up their level.

The final step is pretty sad, but alas true. YouTubers or famous people in Minecraft as a whole. A recent conflict made me rise this above staff obviously (not naming). Players would rather take a famous person’s side rather than a staff member and studies from me prove this. Players direct all the fame to the YouTubers, no matter what if they have enough fame/subscribers they will probably have a line of fans saying “OMG I LOVE YOU!!!! I FAN!!!!” spammed everywhere, literally tossing the admins away like scraps (which I don’t like).

The conclusion to ‘Method 2’, short and simple, yet true and straight-forward. The human constantly has a mind that I have to improve, this is amazing and very good. Except, for the part that people always have a way to turn good things, in to bad things. Ambition for fame and recognition flames through all of us no matter if it’s deep inside. It’s okay to feel it (not going to crawl into your soul… or anything…), you just have to control it just as I stated in ‘Method 1’ as self-control. But at the end, once you’ve achieved all of this, the human has no limits on their mind. Settle on what you have and improve on it, constantly changing will make you power-hungry. You see from the cartoons/movies that the ‘bad guys’ have no limit on their madness. You can be all of your fame, but at the end, think of it. What will you get out of it? You will just stay and keep on doing the same thing. You’ll get bored of it pretty soon is what I’m saying. If you want something stick to it, and be happy that you have it, because one day, you will lose it. If you are one of these ranks then you should try your best to be a good example. If people look up to you, shine bright. Because chances are, if you do something good, there will be lots of people behind you doing the same thing. If you do something bad the opposite will happen. Which you see today in Minecraft and even in real life with different steps.

THIS WILL KEEP ON GOING ON, A WORK IN PROGRESS

Nicely said.....you should add a section about speaking out in defense of others, watching the language. and respecting others.

I think of myself as an Evil Sheriff and I walk my beat every time I play.

Who needs a Mod if you have some badass respected players who police the Brawl-verse on their own. Sometimes it takes a bully to confront a bully.

    Your pal,

    Evil

Interesting idea, but highly unlikely to occur.

Fixing the community is my one McBrawl dream. It will be very hard, since the community is growing and growing. However, I salute you my friend.

Thanks for all of the support again, I released Method 2 and trying to make more! But I made this thread for a purpose. So I won't destroy that purpose.

Added more, part of method 1 and a bit more to method 2.

    Very nice!

We'd all like to see the McBrawl improving in any way it can. Being the best player you can be with the tools you have is the way to do it.

Stay calm and collect, have patience, and don't break the rules. Most importantly, HAVE FUN and don't take things too seriously! c: *whales noises*

Man I see people that have time to write these large essays for a Minecraft server, when I barely have time to write one for school.

I wrote this because I have so much free time playing McBrawl and not accomplishing everything. So I took time to write this. And I wrote it for a purpose .

Hopefully when this happens world hunger will end and maybe racism wont exist.

Youre beckoning to an impractical and impossible idea that may never happen.
Everyone is not going to get along not everyone is going to like eachother.
Not everyone is going to follow rules, not everyone is going to watch their mouth.
Not everyone is going to play justly, not everyone is going to be kind and fair.
Not everyone is going to be respectful, not everyone is going to have fun playing.

Its a sad truth and one that isnt really one to look forward too but thats that and literally nothing we do will change that.

It's true not everyone will be the good kind of person. But you can always try to fix yourself and others, nothing is going to get better unless someone tries.

Not all of us are ok with just accepting junk. Many people hold themselves to higher standards and they want to do something about and make it better...not just cry and whine about it.

I'm all in for making our community better.

Pass me a Mountain Dew and a Skullcrusher....:open_mouth:
