    Hey guys, Ando here,

    My brain hatched an idea. Forums mods. These kinds of mods can lock, move, etc. the threads just like a normal moderator. They won't have any authority in-game or on Teamspeak, but maybe they could have a prefix, like FMOD.

    The requirements have to be different though. The member's activity in-game and on Teamspeak won't matter and their forums activity needs to be VERY high. Maybe like 350-500 helpful posts would sound good? Also, their application would have to be changed, but I won't give question ideas until I hear your guys' feedback. Tell me what you think.

    Good idea, but the post req. wouldn't be that high, it would probably be 50-100 higher than a regular moderator's application, because they still have the same authority as an actual moderator, it is just limited on the forums.

    Yes, but their main focus is to watch over the forums. So maybe toning the amount of posts down to 350-500 sound good?

    We already have super-mods and Gmods, that take care of each and every single section on the forums. Why would we need such a position?

    More like 2000 posts sound appropriate.

    Because maybe some people aren't fit for moderating the in-game, but are really helpful on the forums. Also there are members like @DarkYin who go on the forums only. Or like you Matt.

    GMods can only moderate in their specific server sections.

    The forums are based of our servers, having Forum Moderators who are rarely ingame would only lead to confusion, because those Moderators wouldn't have a clue what everyone is talking about.

    We also don't need that rank, all Moderators are taking care of their servers section and the SMods moderate all forums. This works perfectly fine right now.

    Thanks for feedback, but they would still know what is going on in-game because of the forums. :V

    I like this idea for a variety of reasons: transparency, more Mods (there can never be enough), and I think it would create a more consistent communication forum.

    To be honest, I don't think this is a good idea. The current staff can efficiently handle the forum, so unless a significant number of people are needed to moderate, no.

    This idea as been posted before by myself and Credo for the simple fact that mods are hired to their job online but also on the forums.

    I would absolutely love this. I want to be a moderator on Brawl, however I'm not currently interested in any of the servers. This would be awesome, however I doubt it will happen. From what I can see, the SMODs have the forums under control.

    The forums are moderated well enough as is, we've plenty of moderators per section.

    It seems as though the staff aren't too fond of the idea, but regular members love it.
