    You textured them in a resolution other than 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, or 512x512 is my bet.

    Usp45 is wrong, 1.8 implemented a new type of texture rendering allowing 3D models. I find it quite confusing to the normal tpack maker so I just put the blocks from sphaxcraft (A texturepack made by professional 3D modelers) in my tpack.

    There might also be an MCMETA in the pack, I had this problem with one of Flamingos old pack but when I deleted the MCMETA the textures worked.
