    I thing thats gonna be cool , will reduce the glitchers .

    The current combat tag is working again. Why do we need this system?

    The /ct system was a lot more simple and works a lot better.
    As an example of why it is better than /logout, look at this:
    You hit a guy with barrett, but he tanks the shot. He is trying to logout, until he realizes that he is still in combat with /ct. Then, you can sugar rush him and simply take him down. The /ct time should be 10-69 seconds depending on the amount of damage a player took. This means that if you are hit, you can not /logout without having a NPC.

    With your system, there will be 2x more loggers guaranteed. Say I'm camping a building full diamond. I haven't been hit, team of 5 below me. I hit disconnect, I'm free. At least with our current system they have to stand still for 10 seconds w/o being hit. The current way is much more efficient in keeping players from logging.

    Glitchers? The logging plugin was fixed and it was originally implemented to replace /ct.

    Spawn protection is Minecraft, I don't think that is possible on Brawls side.

    A lot of players that I play with find it easier to do /ct that way we can hop servers easily and we don't have to worry about dying to combat logging, id rather deal with a couple of loggers that logged before I could combat tag than keep the current system

    We could have /ct but a reeeeally long tag, like 30 seconds or something. Or more.

    I feel like it just comes down to whether you're a logger or a fighter.

    Loggers will support /ct because it just makes it easier for them to get out of fights.

    Fighters will support /logout because they get more opportunities to fight.

    If it were that simple, I'd go for /logout, but there is also convenience. It is far more convenient to just hop servers without worrying about making a PvPLogger. Because of this, I'm undecided at the moment.

    Solution:
    Logout will only apply to the combat time OR if there is an enemy within 15 blocks. You can check with /ct and after 20-25 seconds you can just d/c and hop on another server.
    I feel like this is the way it actually is but people are complaining for the **** of it.

    Actually I'm a fighter I just want it implemented again so I can hop servers faster after I finish a fight, so I would have to disagree with you it works both ways

    Having to wait 10 seconds is a long amount of time if 10 players are rushing you. Plus, with combat loggers you can't disconnect like most fast paced players like to do. It may be a slim chance but someone could log on and punch your logger to death.

    I know multiple people that constantly die from combat logging cause someone kills it when they log off

    Take the time to type /logout. If there aren't any enemies nearby, it'll be instant.
    That's your choice not to type /logout. You can prevent that chance by simply waiting 10 seconds. It probably took you 10 seconds to read this.
    The way we currently have it is the best way we've had so far. We don't plan on taking a step backwards.

    So you are not going to even consider what a majority of the community wants? We know the current system works but we liked the other one better and it isn't a step backwards because it works just as well. And don't you think that we outta have some say in the matter considering that WE play and WE donate and WE contribute to your server production.

    How come all of the sudden you guys RANDOMLY want this old combat logging plugin back? No one has EVER complained about it in the past and during the time the log plugin was broken and people had the chance to start logging mid fight with their loot they seem to want it back now. Wonder why?

    On top of this, hypothetically speaking, if we did add the old combat log plugin we'd be forced to add the anti log system where if you logout and in 3 times within 5 minutes you'd be killed to prevent abuse in this system.

    Because it reminded us of how the old combat logging system worked so well and it really helped speed up the game. The only thing that annoyed us where people that abused spawn protection and people who logged mid fight both problems that would be fixed with the old system.
