Surviving The Horde

Hello to all, are you a fan of the stable of CoD: Infection? Well you're in luck actually. I am here, to help you out. How might you ask? Well I am none other than the fabled OSOK Clan Leader ole20084. The master of slight of hand, the inventor of 180 off-the-wall noscopes. Well... okay, not all of that. Yet, I am here to share my experience with you. For early levels, I recommend the usage of the m16 and m9. The good ol' bread and butter if you will. If you find yourself in a corridor, a few bursts with an m16 should thin the heard, with proper accuracy. Fall back to your m9 and always aim for the face. That should hopefully etch out 3-4 more. Now back to your auto. And hopefully that should net you around an emp. Now, the early waves are usually small. What about when it comes down to the halftime? When sufficient survivors have fallen and now seek you out? Well, this'd be what we call the shake and bake. You charge them for a moment, then fall back around the corner. And run to the safety of your friendly neighborhood law campers. The ones with rocket launchers. That friendly bunch, the bane of a TDM, but the savior in the end of days. However, before you seek asylum under his trusty cannon, be sure to leave those zombies a friendly little grenade by that corner that you turned and ran from.

For snipers, it would consist of you doing your job as a sniper, long range decimation. Use that trusty L188A to cover for your primary line with demolishers, crossbows or miniguns. They take the front lines. As lower leveled players, it is your responsibility to cover their backs, and sides. In secondary line your main concern should be to watch the side entrances and flanks. Last thing any veteran wants is to have their entire force crippled by one lone zombie. Tertiary line is pretty much the ones that would rain from above, generally the law group. The stray rocket can wipe out several enemies at once. Protect these guys.

Now, as far as that is concerned. My basic survivalist pack consists of a Model 1887 & Desert Eagle. The shotgun simply to put away the first few enemies. And the degal in its own right should be a primary. Yet, find a gun that caters to your own playstyle. Dont feel obligated to only use one thing. If you want to use a spas, then go for it. A dragonov, then go for it. The idea, there is simply to watch out for one another. If you see everyone shooting down one hall, be the smart guy who goes to the other one and catches the zombies that will flank. Also, be courteous, by not blocking shots from your teammates. Because that does cause rage, as well as the potential loss of both your lives. Its about playing smart, some games you can literally survive the entire game by not shooting at all. Now go out there, and fight back those fleshy minions of the darkness!

 

Lol Dude, noooo. I never used m16 back when. I hated it. Passionately..... Then I would see people with snipers, jumping and swinging it, then shooting. And I never understood. Until... (Achievement Unlocked) Super Secret Quick Scope Jutsu. gg.
