    This is a question I really never got answered. In your opinion do you guys think I would be able to achieve moderator IF I calmed down in chat a little bit more.

    What would you guys say?
    Just curious, not applying.

    It really depends on how people see you. I don't know about how you act to others, trash talk (not sure if you do), active on forums/ingame/TS3, and other things.
    But mainly what is usually needed to be a good moderator is have the will to help others and calm down people (which isn't easy).

    Yeah, that is a mjor factor in being a moderator which I personally think that I can only handle at a small level. That is one downside that I will have to admit.

    By questioning us if you have the abilities that a mod would have, you are questioning if you have confidence in yourself.

    Without confidence that you will be a mod, it's very illogical to apply.

    Anyone can be a good mod. You just have to put your mind to it m8. If you struggle with the chat, just stop and think before you type. It's hard to think before you speak, but you have to sit down and intentionally type something up to send message. Try stopping yourself from typing something bad m8. It takes relatively little self-control compared to most things in life.

    This is the words right out of my mouth. I remember a few months ago I posted a thread like this and I got the same reply. I realized how I was acting and I just went in for gold. Unfortunately my application (though very mature, detailed long and grammatical) was denied without a reply! I was very upset, however I did not give up - that is until I got banned, making it impossible for me to get mod now :/

    Bottom line is this thread questions your confidence and going for gold may have been better and may as well improved my chances of at least getting a single reply.

    From what I know about you Golden you are a very chill person. Which is a good quality to have.
    I think though you should show the community that you are serious about becoming a Mod.
    You already have the forums activity and Ts activity. Just be as helpful as possible in-game. Also be kind calm and ready to solve any situation. It’s really not that hard to become a mod if you put your mind too it. One quality you must have as a mod though is the want to help people. You don’t wanna help people just cause you have to. You need to wanna help people cause you truly want to. If you really don’t care about helping people though it will show.
    As for now at this moment I think applying wouldn’t be the best idea. Give it time and show the community you can make a great addition to the staff team. You can really do anything if you put your mind to it.

    C9_Mango I share my twitch account with my friends because I have a lot of people I follow that my friends like. You may just think . "Oh your just telling a lie." I actually am not. I do admit I made an account called "MrsWay2.

    P.S. Its shared with irl friends. They aren't the most "mature".

    Also like you guys said about the confidence, I don't exactly want to be mod. If I did I would have been calm in chat and would have helped people a little more (Which I anyway do). The point is I'm not exatly trying to apply. Just wanted to know what you guys felt bad about me so I could improve on it.
