Survival PVP: ANVILS DON'T WORK

    When I tried to use an anvil to put Fortune 3 to my sword, it would not allow me. The most I could do is give my sword a name. I love playing Survival PVP so if you could fix this problem as soon as possible, it would be greatly appreciated by me and I'm sure many others.

    The reason why it doesn't work is because you can't put fortune 3 on a sword... :v

    Those wacky enchantments you see on enchanted books are only obtained from enchantment tables, terrain spawned chests, and from plugins/command blocks. You cannot make them in vanilla minecraft.

    So I checked and I found out that pickenchutty and NineNineNine were right. You cannot put Fortune on a sword. I apologize for any confusion and Cappuccino, I got it from a villager.
