    So really when there's deathmatch I always get ticked off by well, the map itself. It's way too big, there's too many hiding spots, and not to mention it's impossible to get any interesting kills. From what I hear on the chat I'm a somewhat well known pvper on the sg servers (WeenieHutJrPvP = NaughtyMage = SurvivalGames101) and at times people tend to scamper away when I strafte them in which it's an endless chase and the map doesn't offer any or few advantages to assist in that. Plus the size of every sg server is a 24 limit, if you had 48 and started deathmatch on a timer, chances are you'd have 15 for deathmatch instead of the usual 3-6 ratio on the 24 sized caps. Our current deathmatch map (which was the OLD KITPVP MAP) runs on a 3 minute clock and would fit better to 15 leftover scrubs compared to 6. So to start this ball, I think we should have a smaller deathmatch map with more advantage points like lava pits and no to few covered towers (to hide in) and few walls. Like an open field almost. Also to compliment that, I say we have deathmatch set to 10 minutes time rather then 3, since most players would SIMPLY RUN AWAY IN IRON WITH DIAMOND SWORD FROM A FULL DIAMOND WITH AN IRON SWORD (WHAT THE ****)!

    Also, if deathmatch has two winners, here's some ways we can decide one winner since contrary to popular belief, there can only be one singular winner per win, not two or more. Otherwise you'd both get the prize and "congrats" map.

    1. Heart Execution: Player with the most/least hearts wins. Absorption hearts do count.

    2. KDR Subtraction: Player with the higher number from their kills subtracted by their deaths wins. Though this may sound unfair, this forces the weaker player (lets say a player with 50 deaths and 4 kills) to fight the stronger player (umm how about someone with 1,954 kills and 200 deaths) in combat.

    3. Saturation Bust: Player with the most/least hunger wins.

    4. Random Challenge: Players are stripped of their items and are forced to engage in a short mini game.

    Here's one...

    Ice Race: Players are put on their own seperate lane of ice and are required to go through a straight forward ice parkour (ice is in a grid, nothing major) with lava on the bottom. PvP is enabled and players are allowed to go in other's lanes. Whoever reaches the end/last standing

    5. Random Fate: Players are moved into a smaller room, stripped of items and are rammed with constant plagues such as poison pot showers and fireballs. Last man standing wins.

    Also perhaps should we have a deathmatch oriented reminder? Something that tells the players they need to fight each other?

    And here's a list of ideas of things to add/subtract from the item spawns!

    Add:

    Lapis: We get enchant pots but no/hidden tables to enchant. Perhaps a kit can be oriented around that?!

    Pufferfish/Spider eyes: ...You guys should eat these

    Enchant Tables: In all maps and perhaps at times in the center?

    Enchant Pots (If lapis isn't implemented)

    The current deathmatch map (obviously!)

    flame resistance pots (We got the god apples already)

    Why not just make the arena get smaller as time goes on? You could just add a border that slowly gets smaller.

    I think they should remove strength potions or at least Strength 2 potions. Even though I use them they're pretty op especially if you're good at pvp and can take out lets say a full diamond with just an iron sword and some armor. Or instead of removing it add a new kit that would make people choose that kit over the strength kit. Its getting quite annoying seeing people pop a strength and just wipe out 1/4 of the 24 people right as the grace period ends. And I do agree with the fact that the dm should be made smaller or with a border that shrinks because I have been part of a dm where people just hid the whole time. Its really annoying and makes people angry most of the time.

    From my analysis on the map, I don't think it'll work with the time presented. <_> I mean I got one already built.

    Lava pits is a bad idea as people herd all the fire resistance potions in their inventory and jump into lava at dm and hide. If there are 2 people, I think the winner could be decided on the amount of kills they have that game. If its the same amount then the more hearts =winner

    Having fire pits in a map is just overall a bad idea in my opinion.
