    I thought there could be ranks on the forums, these ranks would be based on post count and likes. I know this has already been suggested, but I plan on going more in-depth. Here are some examples:

    Forum Ranks:

    Newb:
    First post

    Rookie:
    25+ posts

    Apprentice:
    50+ posts

    Priviledged:
    100+ posts

    Super-Priviledged:
    200+ posts
    50+ likes

    Ultra-Priviledged:
    300+ posts
    100+ likes

    Respected:
    500+ posts
    150+ likes

    Honored:
    1,000+ posts
    200+ likes

    Demi-God:
    1,500+ posts
    300+ likes

    Forum God:
    2,000+ posts
    500+ likes

    Your rank would appear something like a staff tag, except above your avatar.

    Well, ranks aren't really supposed to be acquired easily. Ranks are more for notable members: active, helpful, and likeable.

    Edit: Yeah, I'll fix the likes.

    Edit: Minor edits to likes. 'Forum God' is still the same.

    If I were to add these they would be where your text says "im a wizard", so they are kind of useless since you could fake any rank.
    There is no way in our forum software to add another bar or color it to make it look unique.

    As well as putty's reason, they just seem slightly unnecessary, I mean, it isn't difficult to check how many posts a player has in total.
    However, I guess it could be useful as just like as some groups on the forums cannot view certain forums, you could make it so people with less then (x) amount of posts cannot 'Post a new thread' In staff applications forums. Just an Idea to play around with.

    That's sort of what I was thinking. Lower ranks have more restrictions (limited posts per day, no access to signatures, no access to titles, no access to certain sub-forums, etc.) and higher ranks have more priviledges (higher count/unlimited posts per day, access to signatures, access to member titles, access to other sub-forums, etc.)

    Remove the first few ranks, and make Respected the first thing. (needs same requirements to be respected)

    To be honest, Im not big on the whole Forums Ranks idea. But, I guess it could have a few benefits such as a solution to 'Noob Applications'
