Infected Idea

    Hello Brawlers,

    We all know that infect is probably one of the most unfair gamemodes, players camp with their miniguns and ray guns and they easily win (with the exception of a few small maps where a lot of people "suicide"). I have an idea to try and fix this.

    Every 45 seconds of the game, the zombies get a boost to help them get the survivors more easily. Here are my ideas:

    1st 45 seconds: Each infected gets Speed II.
    2nd 45 seconds: 5 random infected get one grenade, 2 other random infected gets one C4. (One life only)
    3rd 45 seconds: 10 random infected get armor for the rest of the game.
    4th 45 seconds: 3 random infected get super armor for the rest of the game

    I think this idea seems balanced and I haven't found another thread like it. Give me your ideas as well.

    This is balanced, no one gets TOO OP, and it gives the infected a chance. Yas pls

    Infected can already get armor, s-armor, c4, nades, etc. Also they can launch EMPs which is super op. I feel like the only thing that makes infect super unbalanced is the maps, and well I think that both sides have super op equipment.

    Yes, but the majority of the infected people are the unexperienced ones, like level 15-. This can help them a lot, as well as experienced players.

    This easily makes the gamemodes fair and easy for all. Only issue is for the maps it is easy to loose on, that would be too stacked.

    However, just imagine this on killhouse2...
    Wait, nobody lasts 45 seconds anyway!

    I like the idea in general, but armor doesn't really help the zombies. Miniguns and Rayguns will still easily destroy them.
    Maybe change #2 and #3 and make #4 something else that benefits the zombies more.

    Doesn't armor let you live a few raygun shots? And #2 benefits zombies.

    I know that 2 benefits the zombies, thats why I suggested to move it up one spot. I'm saying that#3 and #4 don't really benefit the zombies much and should be moved down or changed.

    I'm pretty sure armor doesn't help against raygun and even if it does, it can not be much.

    Roke has a valid point, the Minigun and raygun will tear armor to pieces.

    Hmm, I like your idea but...with lag, C4, nades, and EMP the game feels pretty balanced.

    The real issue is the maps. Perhaps a change of infected maps is in order?

    I think this would be a great idea! It will not immediately make the infected OP, but instead give them helpful "boosts" if they are struggling.

    The main problem is the maps, but instead of suggesting to remove certain maps, helping the infected with small boosts would be much better.

    Especially maps like killhouse2 that is already unfair for humans; these buffs can either make blue die harder. Interesting idea, I love it.

    I dislike this idea only because Zombies are OP anyways as it is. I rarely find a match where the infected don't win. Since the 3 kill per hit for zombies, infect has gone to dirt. The zombies get EMPS so easily and then the people who are still alive are doomed.

    I'll support this idea when triple kill is removed and nade/C4 glitching is patched. As of now, I do not support it due to problems I mentioned in this reply.

    Zombies are OP, but humans are even more OP. If a zombie EMPs, I just spray my AA12 or minifun or raygun until the blindness is over. 80% of the time I live by doing that.
    I understand. I don't see much made glitching anymore, however. And I liked back when infected kills were 2 kills, but 3 seems too much in my opinion.

    Normal armor doesn't help if u are shot by a ray, Sup-Armor idk about it

    Armor feels pretty useless as Roke stated above, but I think this would make good zombies too overpowered +0

    molotovs are useless in infect if u are a zombie
