Branching Out To New Games

What other games are you suggesting? Im interested to hear your ideas.

 

Let's use this as an example. Brawl opens up a server in the Tf2 game itself. Is that what you mean?

 

Sounds like an interesting idea. I could see the potential of attracting people from other online games into the Brawl community.

 

We do have the brawl steam community. But tbh I don't think many people really use it.

 

Good idea. Would bring quite a diverse group of players to Brawl. However, it would be a pain to redesign the site since it is themed around Minecraft.

I personally think this is a pretty good idea, and I think we should get a TF2 server first, as it is the third most played game amongst the community after Mc and CSGO.

 

Start off with Steam games first as Steam is obviously the all almighty PC gaming program. Osu! might be nice too but it'll bring us a sub-community of asians who are age 18+.

CS:GO is my vote if we were to expand to different games.

 

As said it's pretty obvious we would be starting off with CS:GO, the biggest game other than minecraft Brawl has a community on.

I think it would be a good idea to branch out a bit, but I'm not completely swayed. Of course it would attract more people, but do we want that? After a year of having Brawl be not just Minecraft but other games as well, would it still be recognisable as the original community?

That being said, it would be a good way for people from other games to be introduced to Brawl and Minecraft in general and vice versa. You don't know how many times my friends have asked me to get TF2 or CS:GO. And at least that way, if Brawl minecraft servers go down, there'll be many more options inside the community. That way we don't chew our hands off or go to the devil incarnate (Mineplex).

Make a GMOD server, they do fine, but frequent donations? Nope. Mine-craft is the only game for people like Chap where they can really source an income of donations as of the flexibility.

 

^ but other people do have points in saying the Brawl is a Minecraft-themed thing however @Pnspi why did they take off the MC?

 

I feel this would really stretch things at the moment. We should wait for McMoba and War 2 to be finished before undertaking another big-ish transition.
