Ironic because the same people who call out Iso users are the ones who use crossbow, skullcrusher, minigun, Law, ray gun, C4s, model, and anything else? Oh yeah, and goddamn flamethrower.

 

ISO is a beautiful gun. I use it all the time.

 

Now @Diamondf , I don't really see how recoil or fire rate affects how nooby the L120_Isolator is. In the end, the iso is still a one-shot kill weapon.

Besides, the iso is only a noob weapon if you use it like a noob. Just ask @Striker_Sly .

 

But the thing is - none of the weapons have recoil :v

iso is not op, its pretty darn balanced, and if you dont like getting oneshot, please go and hide in a corner somwhere!

Another thing why saying "ISO noob" is incorrect is because of this:

Noob means new to the game and bad.

You get the ISO at level 36 (obviosly not new), and most of the time people say ISO noob when they die to an iso. If your getting kills with the gun your obviosly not bad.

 

I don't think that it's necessarily a "noob" thing to use the iso. On the contrary I think the prejudice against iso users makes it difficult to use in that regard. However, I disagree with using the iso simply because of it's extreme damage. No other weapon can fully OSK (there's the skull crusher but that doesn't really count).
So no, I don't think it's a noob weapon like I did about a year ago, but I refuse to use it. If you guys choose to, that's fine, but in my opinion the isolator is simply to powerful of a weapon.

 

Think about this. What is the ratio of iso nukes to skully, cbow, mini nukes?

Iso can very easily kill people, but the skill relies on this. Can you nuke with the weapon? Can you hit all 4 shots? Can you survive a tight situation up close, that is better suited for an automatic? That is what makes the iso actually one of the harder guns to use.

 

I agree with this. I normally get called a noob or scroob for using ISO. I choose to ignore it, because if I know that my weapon of choice is legitimate.
I believe practice needs to be involved with it - it's not a piece of cake! Also, using this weapon is extremely difficult with lag!

 

I use the ISO or Dissa all the time even on infect.

I did get a double nuke today with it and went 80-5...I'm a bad man what can I say. I've done similar with the Dissa. What can I say if I was shooting a "Kindness gun" I would do the same thing if not more.

Snipers are people too. We have feelings and stuff like that.....sort of.

Takes practice and skill to use it. I don't need 50,000 rounds, just a handful. 1 shot, 1 kill that's how I roll. Extremely efficient that way.

 

It depends on skill if you use ISO, because you may have terrible aim and it'll disrupt you're killing and than you can't really be a 'noob' because you're gaining skill with the iso, like nuking faster, getting double nukes.
But l118a is better.
