Shooting Lag

    Okay well, this has been happening a lot recently, and it's prevented me from getting a ton of nukes. I'm not sure if there's any other threads about this, I did read through them, but did not see any other threads.
    So here's the problem..
    When I zoom with my L120_Isolator and jump and then try to shoot, it shoots me back like 4 blocks; thus spazzing my screen, and making me miss the shot, and then die.
    If you need video proof, I will go take a video, upload it, and then edit this and put that link in here. But please, it's really annoying.

    Is there any possibility that you're being shot at the same time and/or that your computer might be lagging? Attempt to reduce your Minecraft's graphic settings, increase its memory, and contact your local internet provider before criticizing the hard working coders and hosts. Just a few suggestions. I used to suffer from spikes of a related nature, but I then took initiative to enhance my gaming abilities and since then suffer much less. Even pulling off 2 nukes today alone. gg

    No its actually a thing. For me, it happens with the python a LOT. I can vouch for him in saying that it is a thing.

    I'm a fan of the python myself, however, I have significantly reduced my spikes through various measures taken.

    Trust me, its not my computer. I get 80+ fps. MAYBE I might get 70, but rarely. It might be server lag, let's see what others say shall we?

    I don't play much Mc-War as of now (Just stole bought Terraria and I'm freaking addicted ._.) But when I was playing it, I lagged quite a bit.

    Prime example of that is the Model1887. You shoot whilst in air, you're lagging half way to Nether. Just watch your block placement, and jumping.

    Also, I don't believe Isolator has that much recoil.

    Atleast from my own usage. The Python is your primary concern there, not the Iso at all.

    Well obviously that might fix the problem. But also when I walk while zooming it does it too.
    And I jump and zoom when I jump off roofs and stuff.

    The problem seems to be client side. You may want Optifine (if you don't already have it) or you may want to enter task window and increase java's priority to "high". Hope this helps.

    Optifine, I already have. And it's just the fact that moving while in zoom lags out.
    It's quite annoying.

    5 Star my ass. I'm no where close to that good.
    I may be level 62, but I suck for that level. So don't even think i'm amazing, or anything :/

    I try trick shots, but I always miss. It's like winning the lottery for me xD
    And when I jump off the roof, it's mainly a quick scope, the easy thing to master with an L120_Isolator.

    Primary issue would be handling multi aggro from 3 or more players. In the time span of that RoF for the Iso, there's no real guarantee that in a head on confrontation that you'll emerge with the win. At best odds, you'll get 2/3 then die with half a heart from the previous engagement. I, personally, have the kill > Reload approach where I already estimate the kill and reload preemptively before confirming said kill. Risky, but helpful nonetheless.

    That's not lag, it's recoil. It is part of the game. If you don't want to deal with it then don't jump into the air.
