    So it is well known that McPvP closed down. And a lot of members of that community (especially ctf) came here on brawl. since we are going to use their ctf as a new gamemode, as are some other gamemodes from them.

    So, it is time to talk about that for a little bit.

    First of all: What does everyone that didn't join brawl from McPvP think about all of this? do you like it? Do you don't like it that much or are you neutral about all of it?

    Second of all: What do all NEW members from McPvP think about all the things that happened to the servers? Will it be difficult to adapt to the new server or won't it have any effect to you guys?


    I myself find it kinda surprising that McPvP closed down in the first place. and now that a lot of the people have come from McPvP I am very excited to see what will happen next, Especially since I really liked CTF on it.

    So, what do all you guys think about this?

    Not too happy about the loss of my forum likes and XP, and losing our other gamemodes was pretty tragic also, but looking forward to getting new regulars and such on Brawl.

    I'm sad about the gamemodes we lost, I just hope the ctf and hg team scene will stay in tact. Other than that I foresee a smooth transition.

    In regards to CTF I feel that it will be alright, once new players surge in and realize the imbalances it'll mean faster changes to a growing population that the former CTF never had. Hopefully, with input from former CTFers and new CTFers it will help guide CTF into the glory it can be with the proper care.

    It is currently 3 am, and I have yet to play anything besides Minecraft Party but I will surely try out the gamemodes that Brawl has to offer and become apart of the community entirely rather than stick to the CTF niche like I have before.

    It will be difficult indeed, the forums I once used is now going to perish, which I frequented often and met people. I've done many things with MCPVP, from Newsletters to Signatures to Class Ideas to Events and so on. Most staff members are most likely not going to be staff anymore, and with this integration into a much bigger server it feels like I'm back on square one. It's refreshing though, seeing new faces along with the old but gold people who have come along for the ride with me. Besides that, I feel that CTF can only go up.

    Its a little weird migrating to new servers with different games, but I found a love for the Minestrike here, and I definitely can't wait to face some of the good soup pvpers on here in HG.
