Poem Some thoughts

I ended up writing this at about midnight while not fully functional, the mood simply took me to write something, and I decided why not, so here's a bit of my mind down in text, interpreted somewhat poetically .

It's strange how one thinks,
how we can all sort of come to moments of pure wisdom and realize things we never would've thought of,
My realization was myself

Under the blanket of night, and the ever so glowing stars shining pure and silver over this strange world we call home,
You take a moment to understand that people share that glow,

People you know
People you knew
People you will come to know.

And perhaps it's my own mind that put me in this swirl of emotions, but none the less it's here

Just like a blizzard, really, each fragile snowflake a fragile emotion, waiting to drift through the air and take grasp,
To you

But with each heart beat, all hearts grow weaker, mine, yours, whoever,
Everyones does.

So we wait, and hope that we can make sense, but in the blinding of all these thoughts come forth the lights,
The good ideas

The good thoughts.

So I ponder if the people of my past, the ones who I broke, betrayed, and still mourne over their abscene in my life,
Are under the same glow, all of them, it makes me feel connected in a way,

As well as the good people, my love, my blood, my pack of allies who are constantly here, they shine too,
And if you look close enough, they outshine the old, for the past is the past, as we can only ever really
live in the now, the present, or so it seems to most

Indulge yourself in time, realize your future, and one can begin to ponder even more, it's as though the universe itself could come to a complete halt just for the thoughts,
of a mundane things

So no matter what the scripture, or carvings on the walls of my mind say, I know my love dwindles for those, I know my love grows for some,
But the question is,

Is that how were meant to live?

Are we but waiting here for happiness from a source to make our existence as a blossoming flower, light, carefree, and beautiful?
That catches the light that we can't take it because of our human souls?

So perhaps life is that, perhaps we simply all must wait for our golden happiness

But none the less, life is meant to be lived, happy or not, whatever comes, and whatever goes,
You need
To live it.
