    Question: Why the hell do people only get temp-banned for DDoS threats. People have almost lost their homes due to this, including @jakob112. You get permanently banned for hacking, which is nothing compared to an actual federal crime. I get that it's only a threat, but that shouldn't matter.

    We are temporarily banning people for threatening to DDoS, not for DDoSing itself. There is large difference between doing something and threatening to do something.

    7 days is quite a severe punishment.
