    Hey ATotalHobo!

Critical hits huh? You're not alone when you say you wish that they were nerfed a little, I know your pain! When used effectively, critical hits can sway the balance of a battle in just a few seconds, not to mention they're annoying!

The only problem is, assuming that you're talking about the criticals built into Minecraft itself and not something else I'm missing out on, there's not really much you can do my friend. The only real solution would be if the owner himself or whomever is coding for HG were to change it themselves, because we all know that Microsoft isn't gonna toggle the damages, lol!

For now, all I can say is try your best to live with it. Armor reduces the damage done by critical hits as you know, and if you're truly a superior PvPer than your foe, you'll probably find a way to beat them, even if they jump a lot during the fight. Practice makes perfect right?

For reference, I took the liberty of taking these off the wikipedia page.

The differences in damage are pretty drastic aren't they? Lol! All the more reason to try for criticals when you're in a PvP fight, it could make all the difference.

As for your comment about the server still being in Beta, I know exactly where you're coming from. Think of it this way though.

I'm positive that everyone involved in developing that server isn't just sitting around on their behind doing nothing, wouldn't you say? They're making progress, but sometimes progress is slow. It'll all be worth it in the end when it's finally finished, and all that planning and hard work comes together to form an amazing server! You just have to wait for it. Be patient, it'll be worth it, I promise!

It's definitely too much damage, I'd lower the damage that crits do drastically.
