Red Light, Green Light Buggy/Glitchy? Or was this meant to be?

    I'm really loving the new server, and I find it a great replacement to the slow-paced and laggy Minestrike. I just have one issue. Red Light, Green Light seems to be a little glitchy. Sometimes, even though I'm clearly crouching at yellow and not moving, it will still kick me back for moving. Also, I find it a little troublesome that sometimes it will get you mid-jump and count you as moving. Could you make it so that jumping doesn't count as moving? That would make it a little less frustrating when you're sent back to the start line for jump-sprinting. Thanks :grinning:

    This happening some times but not often.
    An idea would be the square you are on you have free range of motion during "red light" but if you leave the block you will be teleported back to start.

    If jumping didn't count as moving, a player could theoretically jump forwards while it's at red.

    I think jumping should count as moving, but the motion sensor coding should be less sensitive...so many times I stop at yellow and still get sent back. You'd have to sprint instead of sprint jumping the whole game just to avoid this.

    Yeah, I never sprint jump, cause everyone always gets trolled by the really fast change to yellow light.

    Really? Maybe it has been adjusted, but for me the red light movement detector is really sensitive. I suggest allowing movement inside the block you stop at.

    The high sensitivity makes the game hard, we don't want people winning the game in 10 seconds on first attempt every time. It may seem irritating at first however, if it was easier, people would be just as annoyed with how easy it is to win, as it would just be about who can set off and run faster.

    It may have looked as though you have crossed the line however, due to whatever you have your 'FOV' set at, you may have been 1 or 2 blocks out.

    It does seem to be a bit sensitive. Maybe it gives us the warning a little bit after it logs the blocks we are standing on?

    Its how the game works. You have to stop on the block you are on or you are sent to the start.

    Red light green light is very glitchy if you ask me. I've seen players run backwards to the end ._. Anyways, its glitchy but all mc-party games are glitchy. The server is in beta. This is probably well known and @CoderTim is working at fixing it as we speak. The server updates quite often with bug fixes and new additions.

    I haven't had any problems with this game mode other than when its yellow and I am still jump/running, I know I have a 50/50 chance of reseting myself back to the start.
